This Tuesday, América de Cali returned to training after the defeat in Medellín against Atlético Nacional two goals to zero, for date 15 of the I-2022 League at Atanasio Girardot. In which the main group did the physical recovery and flexibility exercises, with the players who were present in the Colombian classic, while the rest continue with their strengthening work.
The most important news of the day was that the new technical director of the professional team, Alexandre Guimarães, was able to direct his first practice with the group at the Cascajal sports venue, after the inconveniences of the previous week on his arrival in Colombian territory.
The team shared the images of the training through their social networks, as well as a video where you can see the Brazilian coach arriving at the training field and then affectionately shaking hands and with some even hugging each of the players and people who are part of the coaching staff, who did not travel with the team to Medellin last weekend.

With this training, the team began the preparation of the Valle del Cauca classic against Deportivo Cali, being 296th in the league and 331st in all official competitions. The match will be this Sunday at 6:10 in the afternoon, at the Pascual Guerrero Stadium for date 16 of the League.
