The Imbanaco Clinic delivered report number five on the health of former soccer player Freddy Rincónwho has been hospitalized in said institution since Monday, April 11, after the van in which he was traveling suffered an accident.

The follow-ups, the diagnostic tests, the radiological studies and the clinical condition do not show a favorable evolution.
“His condition and criticality are extreme,” reported Laureano Quintero, medical director of the Imbanaco Clinic this Wednesday. He also added that “the follow-ups, the diagnostic tests, the radiological studies and the clinical condition do not show a favorable evolution”
In the statement issued by the clinic it is reported that Rincón remains in the Intensive Care Unit and “his prognosis remains very reserved.”
“The patient continues in critical condition, with ventilatory and hemodynamic management and under permanent monitoring, but his evolution has not been favorable,” he says.
Rincón was transferred to the Imbanaco Clinic after the car in which he was traveling at dawn on Monday collided with a bus from the Mío public transport system.
According to the report of the Mobility Secretariat of Cali, the accident would have occurred after the UGR 410 license plate van passed the red light. A version also held by Jorge Eduardo Muñoz Beltrán, bus driver who was involved in the crash.
“I had the road at the traffic light,” said the driver from the hospital where he remains hospitalized. Muñoz suffered a fracture of his left leg and slight head and right parietal trauma.

For his part, Freddy Rincón, one of the four occupants who were traveling in the truck, remains hospitalized with a diagnosis of severe head trauma.
The medical center that treated him announced that he underwent surgery and, subsequently, was taken to the intensive care unit with a very critical and reserved prognosis.

For now, in the last hours the Mayor’s Office of Cali advanced a wake and a day of prayer in the Parque del Éxito to ask for the speedy recovery of the former player of the Colombian National Team.
In addition, Sebastián Rincón, son of the former player, published a photograph that filled his followers with hope in which he is seen holding his father’s hand in the hospital.
