Despite the beautiful family that Raphy Pina and Natti Natasha have created, and the beautiful Vida Isabelle, the last few months have not been easy for them.
And it is that since 2015, the music producer has had to face a trial for possession of weapons illegally for which he was found guilty last December 2021.
That is why a federal court jury in San Juan found sufficient grounds to find him guilty of two charges against him: one for illegal possession and the other for altering a firearm.
According to the conclusion reached a few months ago, it will be this Monday, April 18, where the husband of the reggaeton artist will face the sentence finally imposed by federal judge Francisco Besosa.
Multiple sources from his native Puerto Rico, assured last Tuesday, April 12, a motion filed by the Federal Prosecutor’s Office was made public where it was requested that Pina receive a maximum sentence.
And it is that said sentence ranges between 46 and 50 months in prison, which means no less than four years behind bars, for which all the couple’s fans have shown their concern.
According to the local newspaper El Nuevo Día, federal prosecutors made a series of “strong accusations” about the conduct of the producer and father of Vida Isabelle, daughter of Natti Natasha, for which that sentence was necessary.
And it is that to all this they highlighted that: “the aggravating circumstances of the Pina Nieves case require an upward variation”, because he was a convicted person at the time he was accused in this case.
It should be noted that this motion by the prosecution argues that Pina Nieves has not shown clear and convincing evidence that she will not abscond or that she represents a danger to others or a flight risk.
Raphy Pina reacts
As expected, the producer has not remained silent, and through his personal Instagram account he has shared a series of images where he makes great reflections on the situation he is going through.
It should be noted that the producer remained under the house arrest program and can only leave for medical, religious matters and to appear in court, which was scheduled for the 18th of that month, after the date was postponed.
That is why Natti Natasha’s husband has made it very clear on his Instagram account that it is important to make good use of his days, so that life does not charge him in another way.
What is a fact is that the businessman has understood the lesson, and apparently is ready to receive the sentence he deserves after being found guilty.
