As explained by the Minister of Tourism and Sports Matthias Lammens “We designed an ambitious plan for winter, with strategies to promote our wonderful destinations and the recovery of connectivity led by Aerolineas Argentinas,” the official mentioned.

“The figures that reach us from the provinces confirm our expectations for this season. High levels of reserves throughout the country project a record winterwith enormous intense internal tourist movement and the arrival of more than a million tourists from abroad”, he assured.

“This winter season is going to confirm not only the recovery, but also the strong growth of the tourism sector after a summer, an Easter and several absolutely record long weekends,” concluded the official.

On your side, Gustavo HanniPresident of the Argentine Chamber of Tourism, considered that “we have great expectations for the winter holidays. The first surveys carried out by our Tourist Observatory they speak of an occupation that will be in the order of 90% in traditional winter destinations and we believe that the tourist movement in non-traditional destinations for the winter season will also be surprising. Receptive tourism is also being reactivated and that is great news for our country”, he pointed out.
