WWE WrestleMania 38, Día 1: resultados, combates y todo lo que fue el evento en Texas con Stone Cold, Cody Rhodes y Charlotte Flair | FULL-DEPORTES

the first day of WrestleMania 38 ended and left WWE fans pleased to see different returns and many emotions. The AT&T Stadium in Arlington in Texas wore a full house and the fans surrendered to their favorite fighters, the most acclaimed was undoubtedly Stone Cold, a native of that state.

Day 1 of WrestleMania 38 had seven matches on its card. The evening kicked off with a tag team match between Shinsuke Nakamura and Rick Boogs against The Usos for the SmackDown Titles. In that match, the Japanese teammate suffered a severe knee injury when trying to carry the two champions on his shoulders. In the end, the Samoans retained their crowns.

The first surprise was the coronation of Bianca Belair. The fighter faced Becky Lynch for the RAW women’s title. The long-haired fighter took revenge for SummerSlam and beat the Irish with a ‘kiss of death’ to snatch the belt from her and have another great moment at WrestleMania, since last year she beat Sasha Banks.

On the other hand, the public was surprised to see Cody Rhodes back in WWE, after six years. The ‘American Nightmare’ appeared as Seth Rollins’ secret rival and both provided the best match of the evening. In the end, the former AEW fighter landed two ‘crossroads’ on him, some jabs in the style of his father and one more ‘crossroads’ to defeat the ‘Architect’.

Likewise, the SmackDown women’s title did not change hands after Charlotte Flair’s victory over Ronda Rousey. The “Queen” survived the keys of the challenger and in an oversight with the referee, she did not forgive: she kicked him in the face to retain the championship. While the main event was starring Stone Cold and Kevin Owens.

The ‘Rattlesnake’ returned to fight after 19 years in a WWE ring and looked good against ‘KO’. It was a fight without rules, so the action moved through different zones: from the outskirts of the ring to the top of the ramp. Although Owens applied a ‘paralyzer’, the account did not reach three. Immediately, Stone Cold responded with his ‘stunner’ to take the victory and celebrate with the beer cans in Texas.

After several weeks of uncertainty, the winner of the royal battle decided to face the “Queen” in the “Showcase of the Immortals”. Ric Flair’s daughter will defend her title to continue her good streak, however, her opponent will be very complicated since she is an expert in martial arts.

The other fight that generates uncertainty among fans is that of Seth Rollins. The ‘Architect’ convinced Vince McMahon to have his battle at Wrestlemania, however, the WWE owner did not mention who his opponent would be.

As soon as the portals were announced, fans of wrestling entertainment began to speculate on a name to measure themselves against the former member of Shield. That opponent would be Cody Rhodes, the son of the remembered Dusty.

On the other hand, a few weeks ago, Rey Mysterio began a feud with The Miz for which they both agreed to a fight in Elimination Chamber. In said fight, the owner of 619 came out the winner, however, his rival challenged him again, so a fight was agreed at Wrestlemania 38.

In the ‘Showcase of the Immortals’, the rules will change as it will be a duel in pairs. The masked man will form a great duo with his son Dominik, while ‘Awesome’ will have YouTuber Logan Paul as a partner who has had experience in boxing.

On the other hand, Drew McIntyre starred in a feud with Baron Corbin a few weeks ago, so both will end their quarrels in the wrestling event. The ‘Wolf’ will have the support of Madcap Moss.
